| love the athena hotel my mom and dad go every year for christmas and new year and they love it to sandra and john very friendly people as are there family they have guests returning year after year brill place couldnt ask for better value for money. |

| I stayed at this hotel every illumination weekend for over ten years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The owners are the most friendly and accomadating you will ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble. I only stopped going because Lorna Charlesworth died and no one else wanted to organise the trip. |
